Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities, including managing personnel and subcontractors.
- Ensure the project is progressing according to the schedule and specifications.
- Implement and enforce all health and safety protocols and procedures on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
- Manage on-site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment.
Qualifications:

Project Managers

Engineers & Surveyors
Site Engineers & Surveyors
As a Site Engineer, you’ll be the technical expert on-site, providing crucial support to the project and site management teams. You’ll ensure that all construction work is completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget by precisely interpreting and implementing designs.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical advisor on-site, providing setting-out points and ensuring all work aligns with design specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain meticulous records of progress and site activities.
- Collaborate with the project manager and foremen to solve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Monitor and manage the site’s safety protocols and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate site diaries and project documentation.

As a Remediation Engineer, you’ll be on the front lines of environmental cleanup, playing a crucial role in managing and executing projects from initial assessment to final remediation. Your primary goal will be to design and implement effective solutions to restore contaminated land and water to a safe, usable state. Your responsibilities will include:

Qualifications
We’re seeking a professional with a mix of academic knowledge and hands-on experience. To be a strong candidate for this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in environmental remediation, with a focus on contaminated site assessment and cleanup.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental regulations (e.g., CERCLA, RCRA).
- Experience with various remediation technologies, such as pump and treat, soil vapor extraction, and in-situ chemical oxidation.

Supervisors
Remediation Supervisors
As a Remediation Supervisor, you will be the key on-site leader, responsible for the day-to-day execution of all remediation activities. Your role is critical to translating project plans into successful field operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and directing on-site crews, subcontractors, and equipment to ensure all work is performed safely and according to the project plan.
- Enforcing health and safety protocols and conducting daily safety meetings and inspections to maintain a secure work environment.
- Monitoring project progress and performance, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Troubleshooting technical and logistical issues that arise on-site and providing effective, real-time solutions.
- Maintaining detailed daily logs, progress reports, and other project documentation to ensure clear communication and accountability.
- Coordinating with project managers and engineers to confirm that field work aligns with the overall remediation strategy and design specifications.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional who can hit the ground running. To be a strong candidate for this role, you should have:
- A degree or certificate in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Groundworks & Civil Engineering Supervisors

As a supervisor, you’ll be a vital part of our on-site team, learning the ropes and contributing to the successful execution of foundational and structural work. Your duties will be a mix of hands-on work and on-the-job training, including:
- Assisting senior supervisors with the day-to-day management of groundworks crews and subcontractors.
- Learning to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to guide work accurately.
- Helping to enforce strict health and safety protocols on-site, including a firm understanding of UK regulations such as CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations.
- Coordinating with teams to ensure materials and equipment are on-site when needed.
- Conducting basic quality checks and helping to maintain accurate site records and reports.
Qualifications

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Coordinator
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Coordinator
DXI Regeneration is seeking a SHEQ Coordinator to support the effective management of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) functions across our sites, primarily within the North-West region, with occasional work beyond. This role is responsible for managing SHEQ administration to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement while gathering SHEQ information from sites and ensuring company procedures are followed.
The SHEQ Coordinator will
- Act as a key point of contact for clients to ensure satisfaction, and promoting SHEQ best practices across the entire DXI workforce.
- Maintain and update SHEQ registers
- Ensure the consistent use of Chime software
- Conduct site safety audits, safety stand-downs, and implementing ‘Take 5’ initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have
- Experience in a SHEQ role within construction or civil engineering,
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, and proficiency in SHEQ software, preferably Chime.

Graduates, Apprentices, Trainees & Juniors
In consultation with local training providers, universities and colleges, at DXI we have devised a training programme for apprentices, trainees, graduates and those eligible for kick-start opportunities. The scheme is aimed at those with a strong desire and commitment to enter the construction industry at grass roots level and gradually gain the skills and attributes necessary to achieve their aspirations. We are continually on the lookout for young people who wish to become civil engineers, plant operators, site engineers and various other disciplines within the construction industry.
Quantity Surveyors
While a few years of post-graduate experience are preferred, we also welcome applicants who are currently in training and completing their studies in this field. Given that interaction across disciplines is paramount at DXI, the ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial and business acumen and be eager to engage in estimating and MI financial reporting. For those seeking to establish a career in quantity surveying, we offer both a graduate & apprenticeship training scheme.

The role involves assisting in managing projects to ensure they are delivered profitably, on time, and to a high standard, with a collaborative approach to contracting and liaising with clients. Additionally, helping to communicate the company’s objectives to the DXI team and ensuring adherence to company procedures. Responsibilities include promoting the business and ensuring compliance with SHEQ procedures, ensuring site records are captured, issued, and stored effectively, assisting in the management of projects to ensure they are delivered to programme, and gathering commercial information for inclusion in monthly applications.

Civil Engineers
Civil engineers playa a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure, from roads, bridges, and railways to water supply systems, tunnels, and skyscrapers. They’re involved in every stage of a project — from planning and surveying to designing, managing construction, and ensuring safety and sustainability. Civil engineers assess site conditions, choose appropriate materials, and solve technical challenges to make sure projects are structurally sound, environmentally friendly, and completed on time and within budget.

Specialising in areas like structural, environmental, transportation, or geotechnical engineering, civil engineers help shape the physical world around us and improve how people live and move through their communities.
You will learn how to design and build structures, create simple steel designs, analyse complex ones, and work with reinforced concrete. You’ll also explore how to manage environmental challenges, including risks related to water, transport, and the protection of nature, landscapes, and heritage sites. You’ll gain an understanding of materials and their behaviour, from studying soil mechanics and geology to using advanced techniques like 3D printing composite structures. You’ll also get practical experience with industry-standard software and tools.

We are currently seeking a full-time trainee setting out engineer to oversee projects involving roads, sewers and groundworks, primarily across the North West of England. The chosen candidate will join a dynamic and supportive engineering department. This is a trainee position, with the ideal candidate integrating day-release at college to further their knowledge and skills.
