Groundworks – External Finishes

DXI completed external finishing to plots where we had previously installed the foundation solutions for Jones Homes at their Kendal development.

The site comprised a mostly steeply inclined surface with hard rock situated below and outcropping within the boundary.

External finishing was completed to deliver high specification flags, driveways, and other surfacing to an exclusive development.

Retaining walls and step features were required at many plot boundaries and within plots. These comprised a combination of traditional wooden fencing, masonry and stonework walling as well as precast retaining walling units; with walls up to 3.5m in height constructed.
